Fishing in Sweden
At the beginning of this year we started a cooperation with Rydaholm Hunting & Fishing. Anton and his wife Erna, who have years of experience fishing and hunting in Sweden, thought it was an excellent idea to join hands and start this cooperation.
What does the cooperation entail? We will support each other in terms of fishing and hunting here in Sweden. Björkfors is in a totally different area in terms of vegetation and wildlife. The lakes are also different from each other, so there is something for everyone.
Björkfors - Outdoor will start offering complete fishing packages this year. This means that we can put together packages according to the customer's wishes. It is also possible to make a combined fishing trip, for example a few days in Björkfors and then a few days in Rydaholm.
We will offer the following services:
- Overnight stays in our super cozy hostel.
- Breakfast and lunch to take away.
- Upon your return, you can enjoy a hot meal in the guest canteen.
In the evening, while enjoying a beer by the wood stove on the second floor, you can review the day and make plans for the next day. Boats are also provided, and if necessary you can hire a fishing guide to take you to the fishing hot spots.
Björkfors Fishing is currently in the process of purchasing two new aluminum boats, equipped with 20 hp outboard motors. There will also be an excellent fishfinder and rod rests on board, as well as comfortable seats. In addition, a Rana 14 is available, equipped with a 9.9 hp outboard motor.
When the deal is done and the boats are here, we will of course report it on our website. And to top it off, a transfer will be possible from Linköping Airport (maximum 4 people) for the angler who doesn't want to travel but fish. As you can see, everything is basically possible, and we will do everything we can to give our guests an unforgettable time.
Hunting in Sweden
Björkfors is currently exploring hunting opportunities in the immediate area. We are also in the process of securing hunting grounds, at least 100 acres, where hunters can target fallow deer, wild boar, foxes, badgers, and so on. Many fallow deer live in this area.
As mentioned, Anton is experienced in this area. Together we will make sure that everything runs smoothly. Gun permits can also be arranged by us. For now, hunting trips take place through Rydaholm Hunting & Fishing, but we hope to be able to offer hunting trips here as well by the end of the year.
